The Commission published final Port of Darwin Reporting Guidelines on 25 August 2021.
The Ports Management Act 2015 and Ports Management Regulations 2015 authorise the Commission to make guidelines on reporting in relation to compliance with access policies. The initial Port of Darwin Reporting Guidelines commenced on 2 May 2018, with a review of the guidelines to commence in 2021.
The Commission released Draft Revised Guidelines for consultation in June 2021, showing proposed minor revisions to improve clarity on requirements. No submissions were received from stakeholders.
The final Reporting Guidelines were published on 25 August 2021 following publication in the Government Gazette.
