Engagement

The Commission and Commission staff seek to meet regularly and communicate with stakeholders, to build trust through engaging genuinely and being transparent, and to build an understanding of economic and regulatory issues, including in terms of the NT’s regulated industries.

The Commissioners regularly meet with stakeholders, through face-to-face meetings when in Darwin and through teleconference facilities as necessary. Stakeholders with whom the Commissioners meet include licensees, industry representatives, relevant ministers, government department staff and members of the government opposition.

The Commissioners’ engagement with stakeholders is supplemented by regular meetings with Commission staff as appropriate.
