Price Determination

One of the Commission’s roles is to regulate prices for the Port of Darwin. The regime specifically states the Commission must use price monitoring as the form of price regulation for charges for prescribed services. As required by the regime, the Commission had made a price determination for the Port of Darwin.

The price determination sets out how the Commission will monitor and report on prices, requirements for the publication of prices, changes to prices, and reporting obligations for the private port operator and a private pilotage provider.
