2012-13 Power System Review
The Commission has released the 2012-13 Power System Review, reporting to the Regulatory Minister on prospective trends in the capacity and reliability of the Territory’s regulated power systems. The 2012-13 Review further aligns with other power system reporting in the National Electricity Market (NEM) and is the first time overall power system reliability in the Territory has been assessed utilising techniques commonly used in the NEM and other power systems.
The 2012-13 Review also incorporates reporting on performance against standards of service under the Electricity Standards of Service Code.
The 2012-13 Review was delayed due to the investigation by the Commission of the System Black incident that occurred on 12 March 2014 in the Darwin-Katherine system and completion of the 2014 Network Price Determination.
