Port of Darwin changes to schedule for standard charges for prescribed services
Landbridge Darwin Port has advised it has amended its tariff schedule for standard charges for prescribed services at the Port of Darwin, effective 1 December 2025, to remove a charge for cancelling a request for a pilot with less than 12 hours but more than 2 hours notice.

The document sets out the framework, process and timelines for the next review of system control and market operator charges (2027-32 Review). The Commission is expecting NTESMO’s initial submission to be submitted to the Commission in February 2026.
Generation licence exemption granted – Aggreko Generator Rentals Pty Limited
The Commission has granted, with the approval of the Minister, a Section 87 Exemption to Aggreko Generator Rentals Pty Limited from the requirement to hold a generation licence for its operations in Nhulunbuy. The Commission has published a Decision Summary that provides information on the reasons for the Commission’s decision to grant the exemption.
2024-27 System Control and Market Operator Charges Review – Final Decision on revenue and charges
The Commission has released its Final Decision approving the Northern Territory Electricity System and Market Operator’s (NTESMO’s) June 2025 revenue and pricing proposal for the 2024 27 regulatory period including system control and market operator charges to be applied from 1 July 2025.

Landbridge Darwin Port has advised the standard charges for prescribed services at the Port of Darwin will increase by 2.9% on 1 July 2025, with the exception of port induction fees, which remain the same.
