Wholesale Electricity Generation Market Review - Submissions
On 23 September 2013, the Commission received notice from the Minister requesting that the Commission conduct a review into wholesale electricity market arrangements that are appropriate for the Northern Territory, and to recommend preferred arrangements.
On 23 December 2013, the Commission released for consultation its Draft Report on the Review of Wholesale Electricity Generation Market and accompanying review by Oakley Greenwood on suitable market arrangements for the Northern Territory’s wholesale electricity market.
The Commission received ten submissions.
The Commission in preparing its Final Report will consider each of the submissions received. The Commission will provide its Final Report to the Minister by the end of February.
