AER's Values of Customer Reliability Surveys

The Australia Energy Regulator (AER) is undertaking a study to determine how much customers value, in dollar terms, a reliable supply of electricity from the electricity grid. This is the Values of Customer Reliability (VCR) study. The results of this study will help the AER ensure electricity providers invest the right amount in electricity infrastructure, balancing reliability and affordability to deliver power to customers. Further information is available from the AER’s website.

As part of this study, the AER is conducting surveys of NT residential and business customers. We encourage you to participate in this important study by completing a survey. Your participation will enable the AER to take your views into account in calculating VCR values.

The online surveys take about 15 minutes to complete and are anonymous. The surveys are now open and will close by Wednesday, 23 October 2019.
