Consultation: Submissions Received on the Issues Paper for the Electricity Ring-fencing and Guidelines Review

The Utilities Commission is reviewing the Northern Territory Electricity Ring-fencing Code and Guidelines to ensure their contents and operation are of continued relevance and effectiveness for the electricity supply industry in the Northern Territory.

On May 17 2019, the Commission approved an Issues Paper which identifies issues that will be considered as part of the review. All stakeholders were invited to make submissions on the Issues Paper by 20 June 2019.

The Commission received submissions from the Australian Energy Regulator, Jacana Energy, Power Water Corporation and Territory Generation, which are available below. The Commission is considering the submissions, which will inform its draft version of the updated NT Electricity Ring-fencing Code, due for release in October 2019.
