Licence exemption varied – Alcan Gove Pty Ltd

The Commission, with the Minister’s approval, has varied Alcan Gove Pty Ltd’s section 87 Electricity Reform Act 2000 licence exemption for electricity supply operations at Nhulunbuy.

The variations include new obligations to comply with life support equipment customer protections in the Electricity Retail Supply Code, and to comply with the Electricity Industry Performance Code’s Guaranteed Service Level Scheme and associated reporting, data quality and data segmentation requirements, subject to bespoke guaranteed service levels to be submitted to the Commission for approval.
