Consultation on the 2024 Electricity Industry Performance Code Review – Consultation Paper has now closed and the Commission is considering stakeholder feedback.
The Electricity Industry Performance Code sets out the performance standards and reporting requirements for electricity entities in the Northern Territory. Its purpose is to help ensure that these entities meet specified standards of service, contributing to the reliability and quality of electricity supply for consumers.
The Commission is reviewing the Electricity Industry Performance Code to address identified issues, incorporate feedback from stakeholders as considered appropriate and ensure it is effective and relevant in regulating the performance standards and reporting requirements for electricity entities in the Northern Territory. To formally initiate the review, the Commission published a consultation paper and sought feedback from stakeholders.
