Proposed Electricity Retail Supply Code and Statement of Reasons – June 2019

The Commission has released a draft of the proposed Northern Territory Electricity Retail Supply Code (the draft Code) and Statement of Reasons for a final round of consultation. The Statement of Reasons sets out the Commission’s proposed amendments to the Code, following consideration of submissions to its April 2018 Statement of Reasons, and invites final submissions on the proposed amendments by Friday, 2 August 2019.

The Commission intends for the amended Code to commence on 30 September 2019, incorporating any further amendments in response to consultation feedback.
