Retail licence – Department of Defence

The Commission has issued the Commonwealth of Australia, represented by the Department of Defence, a retail licence to sell electricity.

The retail licence provides for the Department of Defence to trade in electricity and sell electricity generated from within Robertson Barracks and RAAF Darwin to electricity entities holding a retail licence.
