Katherine Solar Pty Ltd’s Generation Licence Transferred to Eni Australia Limited
The Commission has approved and executed the transfer of Katherine Solar Pty Ltd’s Generation Licence to Eni Australia Limited, with effect 11 January 2019, in accordance with section 33 of the Electricity Reform Act.
Extension of consultation period - 2018 System Control Charges Review
The Power and Water Corporation (PWC) made a submission to the Commission (Review of System Control Charges and Associated Funding Issues) under section 39(1) of the Electricity Reform Act proposing an increase to the system control charge, from the current $0.001 per kWh to $0.0057 per kWh, from 1 July 2019, and an annual review of the charge.

The Commission received an application from Assure Energy Asset Pty Ltd as required by section 14 of the Electricity Reform Act 2000 (ER Act), for a licence to generate electricity in accordance with section 21 of the Act.
