Electricity retail pricing
Electricity retail prices charged to residential and commercial customers (those consuming less than 750 megawatt hours of electricity per year) are regulated by the NT Government through a pricing order made by the Treasurer under the Electricity Reform Act 2000.
The pricing order sets the retail prices that customers may be charged for electricity and related services. Compliance with the Electricity Pricing Order is enforced by the Commission.
