Ancillary services charges

Ancillary services are defined in the System Control Technical Code and include: voltage control, reactive power control, frequency control and black start capability. The Utilities Commission Regulations authorise the Commission to make determinations relating to prices for providing ancillary services in the electricity supply industry.

The price for ancillary services provided by Territory Generation in the Darwin‑Katherine system is covered by the System Control Technical Code.
