The Commission has released its Review of the Northern Territory Electricity Supply Licensing Regime – Draft Decision – scope and design for consultation.

The Draft Decision provides the Commission’s preliminary decisions on the application of licensing to emerging technologies and business models, a framework for exemptions and proposed changes to the exemption for small scale renewable energy operations following consideration of submissions on the Issues Paper for the licensing review, which was released in April 2022.

The Commission invites submissions on the Draft Decision by 5pm (CST) 16 June 2023. Submission should be provided electronically by email in Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Word format to utilities.commission@nt.gov.au

More information regarding the Licensing Review can be found on the Review of the Northern Territory Electricity Supply Licensing Regime project page.
