Consultation on NTESMO initial proposal for the 2027-32 System Control and Market Operator charges review

The Commission is consulting on the Northern Territory Electricity System and Market Operator’s (NTESMO’s) initial proposal in relation to proposed charges for system control and market operator functions for the five-year period, from 1 July 2027 to 30 June 2032.

The Commission invites submissions from stakeholders on NTSEMO's initial proposal, attachments and models. The Commission has published a consultation paper, which highlights key elements of, and provides observations and questions in relation to, the proposal to assist stakeholders in preparing submissions.

Submissions are requested by COB Tuesday 4 August 2026.

More information about the Commission’s review and the full NTESMO proposal can be found on the project page.
