Consultation - Review of the Northern Territory Electricity Supply Licensing Regime (stage 2) - form and content of licences
The Commission is reviewing the consistency, efficiency and effectiveness of the form and content of licences in the Territory electricity supply industry, and has released its Review of the Northern Territory Electricity Supply Licensing Regime (stage 2) - Consultation Paper, which presents a proposed standard set of conditions that a licensee must comply with in order to operate.
The Commission performs licensing functions in the Territory's electricity supply industry and is reviewing the operation of the licensing regime to ensure it remains relevant and effective. The Consultation Paper seeks input from stakeholders on a proposed set of standard conditions for electricity supply licenses.
The Commission invites submissions on its Consultation Paper for the review of the form and content of electricity supply licences by 5pm (CST) 1 September 2023. Submissions should be provided electronically by email in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word format to utilities.commission@nt.gov.au.
