Consultation - System Control Technical Code amendments - Power and Water Corporation

The Commission has received a submission from Power and Water Corporation proposing amendments to power system incident reporting procedures in the System Control Technical Code.

Under the Electricity Reform (Administration) Regulations 2000, the System Control Technical Code may make provision for any matter relevant to the reliability, safety or security of the system or the monitoring or control of the system. Under the Electricity Reform Act 2000, any amendments to the System Control Technical Code must be approved by the Commission.

The Commission considers it good regulatory practice to publicly consult with stakeholders and other interested parties prior to making its decision on the amendments. The Commission has also prepared a consultation overview and summary table to assist stakeholders in interpreting the submission.

More information regarding the submission from Power and Water Corporation can be found on the System Control Technical Code Amendments – Power and Water Corporation project page.
