Variation to Electricity Industry Performance Code

The Commission has varied the Electricity Industry Performance Code, which will commence on 1 July 2026.

The Electricity Industry Performance Code amendment has focused on the generation services performance indicators in Schedule 2 to ensure they remain appropriate and proportionate, and on the retail service performance indicators in Schedule 4 to identify and address misalignment with the AER’s Retail Performance Reporting Guidelines (V4).

The Commission’s Final Decision – Electricity Industry Performance Code provides detail on the Commission’s final amendments, following consideration of submissions to its Draft Decision.
