Retail licence surrendered - QEnergy Limited
The Commission received written notice on 19 July 2023 of QEnergy Limited's intent to surrender its retail licence. The Commission accepted the surrender of the licence effective 24 July 2023.

The Commission is reviewing the consistency, efficiency and effectiveness of the form and content of licences in the Territory electricity supply industry, and has released its Review of the Northern Territory Electricity Supply Licensing Regime (stage 2) - Consultation Paper, which presents a proposed standard set of conditions that a licensee must comply with in order to operate.

Port of Darwin changes to standard charges for prescribed services
Darwin Port Operations Pty Ltd has advised it will increase its standard charges for prescribed services on 1 July 2023, with the exception of port induction fees, which remain the same. Charges for pilotage will increase by 5% and 6.7% for other prescribed services.
