Assessment of Network Outage Event on 22 November 2025 - Power and Water Corporation
The Commission has published an assessment under clause 5.4.4 of the Electricity Industry Performance Code for the purpose of verifying that a network outage event in the Darwin region on 22 November 2025 was outside of Power and Water Corporation’s control, and therefore able to be excluded from its network performance reporting and guaranteed service level payments.

Port of Darwin changes to schedule for standard charges for prescribed services
Landbridge Darwin Port has advised it has amended its tariff schedule for standard charges for prescribed services at the Port of Darwin, effective 1 December 2025, to remove a charge for cancelling a request for a pilot with less than 12 hours but more than 2 hours notice.

The Commission has granted, with the approval of the Minister, a Section 87 Exemption to Aggreko Generator Rentals Pty Limited from the requirement to hold a generation licence for its operations in Nhulunbuy. The Commission has published a Decision Summary that provides information on the reasons for the Commission’s decision to grant the exemption.
